  1. There is a way to disable "the action can't be completed because the file is open in"?

This is happening a lot meanwhile I'm doing apps, copies, or whatever. For unknown reasons, after closing any apps that could use the folder, I'm not able to delete it until I reset my laptop. It's an option to stop it and be able to delete any file independently which app is using it? By task manager, it's not an option due it's not working either, I can't go over every single process to realize which one still using this, but I know if something related to the latest features from the last SO of Windows. Before, I had not experienced this problem, and definitely is really annoying.*It happe

Enable or Disable Action Center in Windows 10

    Hello John, *Smile

Turning off the Action Center system icon like in your screenshot would indeed be one way to remove it from the taskbar without completely disabling the Action Center to be able to still use the Win+A shortcut.

If you like, you could use step 6 in Option Two of the tutorial below to disable the Action Center system icon with a .bat file without completely disabling the Action Center.

*Arrow Enable or Disable System Icons on Taskbar in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

Contents of the .bat file for reference:

    Code:
    Code:
    REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer" /V DisableNotificationCenter /T REG_DWORD /D 1 /F REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer" /V DisableNotificationCenter /T REG_DWORD /D 1 /F taskkill /f /im explorer.exe start explorer.exe

Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

Unfortunately that doesn't disable Action Center, all it does it cause Acution Center to bitch about the Security Center service not running.

Action Center seems to be a different beast from Security Center...

And telling it to not display any messages gets it out of the way, the same way disabling the icon in the suggestions above does, but Action Center is still enabled and running.

Enable or Disable Action Center in Windows 10

Unfortunately, the .bat file you provided still disables the action center completely; after running it as administrator, even though the icon is indeed gone from the taskbar, the keyboard shortcut Win+A still does NOT work. It seems to be doing something inherently differently than what simply manually toggling the option in the settings does.

Is there an easy way to figure out how changing a Windows setting affects the registry? Is there some way I can easily backup the whole registry before applying a change, then apply the change, and then finally back up the registry again and then search for the difference?
