Gettiing a rather strange issue when attempting a file MOVE cut/paste from one mapped drive to another mapped drive the drives are mapped to different volumes on the same Windows Server 2008 - as with desktop OS in the process of moving to a Server OS that is still supportedClient machine being used to perform the copy is Windows 7 NOTE: I know this is no longer supported....due to internal politics the Windows 10 validation is still ongoing...will probably done in time for Windows 20 ; As you can see from screen grab above, the problem is down to a 0byte file that appears to be pr

Location service is greyed out

Thank you for responding.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused for you, I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting steps and check If it helps.

Step 1: Steps to turn on the Location settings.

• Login as an administrator.
• Press Windows key, type Location settings and select
  Change location settings.
• Check whether Location for this device is On by clicking on
  Change.
• Also turn on Location as well.

Step 2: And as you are unable to set the service Geolocation service to automatic, I suggest you to run SFC scan and check.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
  

Try to set the service to automatic by following the steps provided in the above post by Praveen Venugopal.

Thanks for the suggestion I have obtained the list of the names of my folders, I have another question, you can.
Or rather to customize several music files with the ending of a custom name.
