Windows 10: there is no bluetooth toggle in my windows 10

so i tried to connect to my bluetooth earbuds since i disconnected and was charging it for an hour, i didnt restart or turn off the pc. when i try to connect again to the bluetooth, it didnt work and i cant open settings at all, so i restart my pc and when i check again, there is no toggle on and off button for my bluetooth anymore. i have been using bluetooth daily ever since i used my laptop and never have i ever encountered something like this.

i tried to delete my bluetooth drivers and all things related to bluetooth on apps and feature settings and restarted. i tried downloading bluetooth again from asus website since my laptop is asus a407ua to be exact yet it still wont work. there is an app called intel wireless bluetooth but there are no devices called bluetooth even tho i toggled "show hidden devices" in view, please help

Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision

Edit: This is a dongle with old BT version I see now, but I'm sure you can find a Asus BT4.0 version.

@aasim1111 I have this one, it doesn't show that it supports A2DP in the specs but I think it'll work, otherwise send a mail to Asus and ask.

Bluetooth on/off toggle button Windows 10

I have owned this machine for 2 and 1\2 weeks. As soon as I unboxed and connected it to the web I did the free windows 10 "upgrade" Had I known the issues with Bluetooth on this operating system I would have NEVER done the upgrade. I am using Bluetooth a lot
for my music. It has been nothing but a P I T A! The unit remains connected on Bluetooth and I cannot use the speakers. I must "remove" the Bluetooth device (my Yamaha V receiver) from the devices connected menu every time I want to get away from my HiFi.
The on\off toggle would be GREAT for this.....but it does not exist. I did what you suggested and it solved nothing. Again, I am a true "rookie"
