Windows 10: There is no email program associated to perform the requested action, please install an...

Before you ask, I have done everything. I have gone to regedit and deleted "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLIENTS\MAIL\MICROSOFT OUTLOOK".

I changed my mail path,

I have changed the mail in cortana,

But STILL. THE. SAME. THING.

This pops up every hour or so and have had it around for a year, I've gotten sick of it.

If anyone gives me a answer, It might take a day to reply because... Y'know,

I'm sure what you mean re User Accounts what is listed under Mail. There were no mail references. Same with Set defaults by app.

How to solve this issue?

Every time when I switch on the pc it shows the error "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default program control panel."

I am using window 10 Home and Student 2016.

Hello, it would seem you have two problems.
1. the assocation
Suggest you try this:




From the control panel
(E.g. via Windows key + X, click Control Panel, then Default Programs).

2. Sthg that is accessing a file repeatedly, whose type is not associated.
You might be able to work out what that is using a clean boot:
