alright i see this question posted already but, i have outlook set up on my win 10not sure if it is set up right, the message appears when i try to send an email from my snap 10 program, , if someone could help me to make sure everything is configured right,? do i create an association between nap 10 and outlook? how?

So had a play:

As you can see the outlook shortcut is in the sendto folder




But not on the sendto menu




I did duplicate some items in the Sendto folder to ensure it was the correct folder and they appeared.

Next, the Mail recipient properties:





Opens with: Unknown, so thought I would add outlook:





Navigate to Outlook and....





Failed

Followed the instructions at post #42 about and outlook open but with the following error message:

 

No email program associated to perform requested action......

Hi, in a very similar very recent thread all associations in Settings were found to be correct- the fix was to repair Office.

There is no email program associated with the requested action...

Unfortunately MS made sure to make it as difficult as possible, only registered apps can be set as default.




Like in Thunderbird for example, you have to set it up as default from within first.
