Windows 10: there is no email program assoiated to preform the required action

I am using Windows 10 & Outlook email. when I right click on a picture & go to -send to- I get a message:there is no email program associated to preform the required actionthere is no option to go to Outlook email

Since upgrading to the newest version Windows 10 I keep getting this error. Can you tell me how to fix it?

If you already have a Office Outlook or Mail app installed and still getting this error message, resetting the default mail client will do the trick by following these steps:

• Open Control Panel.
• Go to Programs and select Default Programs.
• Select Set program access and computer defaults.
• Under Choose a default e-mail program,select your email client and click
  OK.
• Also, click the first option in the list, which is Set your default programs and reset your mail client there, in addition to the above steps.

There is no email program associated to perform the requested action

When I click on a name or email address in an article I get a message box saying:

There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.

I read how to fix the problem on another thread but under step 3 Microsoft Outlook is not shown in my registry editor:

"This issue may occur if the Outlook registry key is corrupted. When other programs try to use the Outlook Simple MAPI interface, they cannot retrieve the required information from the registry.

You must first remove the corrupted Outlook registry key, and then perform a Detect and Repair operation to have Outlook rebuild the key. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then press ENTER.
3. In Registry Editor, locate the following subkey in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Mail\Microsoft Outlook
4. Select the subkey, and then press DELETE.
5. Click Yes.
6. Quit Registry Editor.
7. Start Outlook.
8. On the Help menu, click Office Diagnostics.
9. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the repair.
