Windows 10: There is no ethernet section in my Network and Internet!!!!!!

Hello, I wrote here 12 days ago and 6 days ago, the first one was answered and the person who answered me said to write again if the problem continues, so I wrote and although 6 days have passed, I have not received an answer, so I am writing again. I started using an ethernet connection on my computer, but in the Network and Internet section of the settings on my computer, sometimes the ethernet section is sometimes appearing and sometimes not, I think it is completely random. "Network" section in File Explorer can't see Kubuntu/Samba computer

Network connection is mostly driven by the network configuration. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can take a look into:

Method 1: Turn on network discovery

1. Open Settings, and go to Network & Internet > Ethernet > Change advanced sharing options.
2. Tick Turn on network discovery.
   

Method 2: Find devices and content

1. Open Settings, and go to Network & Internet > Ethernet.
2. Click the Ethernet Connected icon and turn on the Find devices and content.

Method 3: Enable the Server Service.

1. Open Services via Start menu search.
2. Navigate to Server service, and double-click it.
3. Change the Startup type to Automatic.
4. Click Start under Service status.
5. Hit Apply, then OK.

Should the issue persist, since network connection works between two Windows computer, we also suggest seeking Kubuntu support for further assistance.

Network and Internet settings, No Ethernet option

Just to clarify, to which port have you plugged in the Ethernet cord, Is it to the phone jack or Ethernet port?


The Ethernet section appears if you're connected to a network via Ethernet, and is similar to the Wi-Fi section.



I suggest you to unplug the Ethernet cord from the laptop and restart the system. Then I suggest you to turn on the Wifi and plugin the Ethernet cord and check if you can see any drivers identified from the action center from the task bar.
