    There is no WinX folder on my computer. Win 10, 64 bit, version 21H1, updated Aug 7,2021, product ID 00330-80000-00000-AA116. Hence Win-X does not work nor does right-clicking of the start menu. None of the various solutions on the web help.

    Will this work with going from Win 7 Pro 32-bit to Win 10 Pro 64-bit?


    I wonder if there is any problem for going this route with installing Win 10/64-bit on a computer that had Win 7/32-bit (without ever installing Win 10/32-bit)?
    Basically I am thinking about the process described here: How to Switch From 32-bit Windows 10 to 64-bit Windows 10 while skipping the middle step, - by using Shawn's solution.

    There should not be an issue doing that, as long as the computer supports 64-bit.

    The last time I reinstalled Win-7 32-bit- I bought a retail copy that my computer shop said was also good for Win-10.
    After Covid-19, should I have them do a clean Win-10 reinstall?

    I am Not a Gamer, or heavy user...- I just like a fast computer for email/shopping/system maintenance...! One 21" monitor.
    My computer shop will only install Gigabyte MBO's, and Intel CPU's.- Any suggestions?
