    My Windows 11 PC has one 500 GB SSD hard drive C, with 316 GB free space, as shown in Picture 1 attached. When I try to upgrade HCL Notes R12 to R14 on this machine, by selecting either installation file location i.e., a temporary location or a specified one as seen in Picture 2 attached, it prompts "there is not enough disk space to extract this package", as shown in Picture 3. BTW, the installation package size is 1.12GB. Thanks a lot in advance, and have a great day!

    Extracting Zip Files


    Are the step-by-step processes identical? That is, the folder extracted from and the folder extracted to belong to the same hierarchical file system structure. If they are, that suggests mildly the Cumulative Update left an electron or two out of place.

    • Type Computer Management on Ask me anything and press
      Enter.
    • Select Storage and click on Disk Management.
    • Send us a screenshot.

    I do appreciate your efforts and time.

    Try to run theSystem Maintenance Troubleshooter.


    • Press Windows key + W and type
      Troubleshooting.

    • Select Troubleshooting.

    • Select view all on the top left corner.

    • Click System Maintenance,
      follow onscreen instructions.
    I suggest you to run Check Disk which performs an analysis of the disk. Refer to the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X.
    • Click on Command prompt (Admin).
    • Type chkdsk /f and hit enter.
