Windows 10: there is not enough space on the disk 0 bytes is needed to perform this operation

hello as you can see from the image that this error occour when i try to move or copy file from shared network folders even there is a space left and the weird thing it says 0 byte !!!any idea what could be the problem and how to fix it ?

Small files have a disk space of 0 bytes

CAUTION: Please to not ask/suggest "file repair" stuff as in the original question since it will lead to no output/solution/answer!

The files are valid/okay. In my point of view there are two possibilities:

• Simply a "display" bug in Windows File Explorer for files <1K
  
• Some specialty of the NTFS I do not know (see also for "file system tunneling - possible that files are changed, before they are created")
  

e.g. A text file which is 72 byte:





But "Size on disk" claiming 0 bytes...

When I add (enough) text to the (text) file it changes from "0 bytes" to 4K:





When I remove the added text, "4,00 KB (4 096 bytes) will remain...

When I create then a copy of that file, the new file has again "0 bytes" on disk (don't forget, the file has 72 bytes)...

(so, the sector size on my HDD is 4 KB.... or KiB but each "IT human" knows about the 1024 factor so it is clear what KB means... - an it seems that Microsoft shares my opinion since the avoid the kibibyte nonsense ;-))

DVD Disk showing 0 bytes.

I brought new DVD of 4.7 GB, but after inserting it, it is sometimes not recognizing and when recognizing it is not showing any size,

as well as when I clicked on properties it is showing 0 bytes, I exchanged DVD but issue persists.

One more thing when I inserted disk at very first, it showed 4.38 GB blank space but after rebooting it is showing 0 bytes.

The disk is recognizing properly but the "Size bar" which is generally below the name of Disk not showing.

Also I tried to Add Files but the disk drive is ejecting and coming out.

My system:

Dell Inspiron 15R 5521

Windows 8.1 x64bit
