Windows 10: There is something wrong with my network card.

There is something wrong with my network card as I have no internet and my Ethernet Port does not work anymore, my PC thinks that it's connected to a non-existent public network and I have tried to fix it in all the ways I know, even to the extent of me resetting my network card but it made it even worse so now my network card doesn't exist anymore according to my PC even though it does. Can I please get some help with this?

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things

  Are you using router?
  
• 
  Are you getting any error message?
  
  
  

Is you are using router then I suggest you to reset the router and check if the issue persist.

Also I suggest you to update the Network Adapter driver. Here is the steps:

• 
  Press Windows+X key on your desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate Network drivers, expand, right click and click
  on Update.

WiFi card shown in Device manager but not in Network & sharing center

Hi Budd,

We suggest that you update the drivers and check if it works.

Follow the steps below to update the Wireless Adapter's driver:

• Press Windows key+X.
• Select Device Manager.
• Right-click on the Network Driver (802.11n Wireless Card).
• Click on the Driver tab.
• Select Update Driver.

If the update went successful, please reboot the computer to take effect the changes.

Network card driver problems with official release version of Windows 10

I would suggest you to run Network troubleshooter:

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Network Adapter"
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.
