Windows 10: There's a button on the top left corner of my desktop

    There's a button on the top left corner of my desktop


    When it shows up, it removes all the desktop icons, and you can drag it to make a single temporary clone. If you click it after that, it makes an error sound and does nothing. If you click away, the clone disappears, and you can make another clone. But if you click the button rapidly, all the icons show up and it stops working. After restarting the computer, it disappears along with the desktop background. How do you get rid of it forever without restarting the computer?

    Top left corner icon keeps moving

    This is the top left corner of my screen. These are the only icons I have on my Desktop. These icons never move...

    Start button lower left corner of screen


    The Start button in lower-left corner of screen/desktop is not responding to left click.
    Is there something an amateur can do?

    There's a button on the top left corner of my desktop

    Top left corner icon keeps moving

    No the Recycle bin is on a different part of the desktop and is visible? The stray icon we are talking about is on top left (empty) corner of screen.
