Windows 10: There's a green line constantly blinking under the taskbar. I searched for solutions but...

My PC was completely normal until this green line randomly appeared and blinking under the taskbar. Tried everything to fix: upgrading BIOS, resetting Windows, updating graphic driver, nothing seems to work. I don't think it is a hardware issue because when I use offline scan in Windows Defender, the line disappeared.

How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the "eConnect by Harris School Solutions"
from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.

• When you say "taskbar search function", do you mean the Start menu search field?
  
• Are you getting any error messages upon accessing the taskbar search?

Meanwhile, to help resolve your concern, we suggest that you run the System file checker and DISM tool to fix issues with corrupted system files that may be causing the issue. To do this, follow these steps:

• Press Windows Key + X on your keyboard.
  
• Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• Type or copy these commands followed by hitting Enter:
  
  sfc /scannow
  
  dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Why "green line" slow with File Explorer searching?

Try the Rebuild that @dalchina suggested.

Then, if you want to try the ms-search:
create a desktop shortcut using the 'bold' as the path, name it what you wish; you could change the icon if you wish, then pin it to Start or drag it to your taskbar.
(The window will have a blueish shade to it)
