    There’s a red line running down my screen when I play/record videos.


    I have no idea what it is or how to turn it off. It doesn’t appear when exporting things however. I’ve had it but had no idea where to start looking for at least 2 weeks now. It’s very annoying, and while I would like to look at the settings, I would have no idea where to start. I should also mention I have an elgato 1080p capture card running into my monitor, but, the issue existed long before I plugged it in and still persists when I take it off. Post

    Red verticle line in the middle of the screen in Media software while playing videos, Windows 10

    After upgrading to Windows 10, the default media software playing videos has a red vertical line in the middle of its screen. How do I reinstall Windows 10. Think re-installing will get rid of that center line?

    I am running windows 10 on a gateway fx6860 with a msi r7850 video card. My monitor is a lg 29um55. When I first upgraded to windows 10 I did not have the red line down the center of the screen , it appeared a few weeks later. It only shows up when I play
    microsoft solitaire collection , but not when I play a dvd. Any thoughts ?

    N8 - Disable red light video recording

    I saw this in a web page....¿anyone knows how?



    Yes it is possible to turn of the red light during the video shooting mode. What you have to do here is follow the below steps:

    • If you will press the Q and W from the keypad it will set the Flash LEDs on and off,
    • And if you will press the E and R from the keypad then it will set the red recording LED on and off,
    • Also if you will press the A and S it will adjust the focus,
    • And the D to correct the auto focus.
