Windows 10: These logs/files/options etc now 'downloading' into new folder! Why?

Hi, Not sure if I have done something can't recall, but all the following files etc are now appearing in a folder that I normally have for downloads.It seems the path for the info below has changed, and I can't see how I can get it back to the original 'area' where ever that wasmmm, doesn't seem I can copy/paste, so here is the first dozenHope someone can help out :Options-000011Options-000008Manifest-000008LogLockIdentityCurrent000009.log000004.sstfffefdfcfbfaf9f8f7f6etc and dozen more empty folders after that.The log of 'log' above shows the following:2021/07/02-13:54:28.974990 251c R

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

 

GPU-z Log File Options???

Are there now... & if not can some options be added for log file handling?

1> I would like to have the option to change how often GPUz writes to the log file, it currently writes to the log every second & results in a large file of about 5.5MB every 8 hours. For long term use (i.e. a 24 - 72hr burn in), I'd like to see the option to write once every 2 to 5 seconds.

2> I would also like to have a way of setting a file size limit

3> Is there any way to make it so that it either writes a new log each time? I can of course manually change the old log filename, but that gets tedious... - Folding at Home for example automatically re-names the log file (from FAHlog to FAHlog-Prev) & starts a new log file once a set size limit range has been reached.

Downloaded files disappear


When you download a file through any browser, there's an option somewhere to 'Open Containing Folder.'

In Windows, to find a file you have downloaded...

1. Open your personal folder by clicking the Start button and then clicking your user name at the top of the Start menu's right pane.
   
2. Double-click one of the following folders:
   
   • Downloads
     
   • Documents
     
   • Pictures
     
   • Videos
     
   • Music

If you do not see the file you are looking for, but know its file name, you can search for it by following these steps:
To search for a file you have downloaded...

1. Click the Start button
   
2. Type all or part of the file name into the Search box.
   The file you are looking for will appear in the list of results.
