Windows 10: Thin Horizantal black line in my screen

Discus and support Thin Horizantal black line in my screen in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have a small, thin line in the middle of my Lenovo G50 laptop.     Thin Horizantal black line in my screen


    I have a small, thin line in the middle of my Lenovo G50 laptop. It's been here for days, I've restarted my computer three times now and it keeps popping up. It just appeared one day and hasn't gone away since.

    I tried to run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit, but it says this will only run on a specific surface. Although, I have updated the version of Windows.

    Thin black line

    Hi,i have just downloaded windows 10 on my laptop and i have somehow aquired a very thin black vertical line down the centre of my screen.It goes away when i restart but returns again after a while.Any ideas please?!

    Thin black line on the left side of the screen

    I bought a new gpu (7870 ghz) and I installed latest drivers and CCC but there remains a thin black line on the left side on my monitor, which is about 1 mm thin. I set overscan in CCC to zero so my picture should be completely full screen. Monitor is new led Samsung 1080p.

    Thin Black Line, Growing!

    So a few days ago I began to notice a thin black line that appeared near the top left of my screen that was half the size it now is. It looks like someone took the pencil from MS Paint and made a perfect line over my screen. I thought that it might have
    just been a glitch so I restarted my computer, to no avail. It follows me everywhere! My restart screen, my boot screen, apps, windows, photos, it goes down and up with the scroll. I was worried this was some sick virus so I'm just running a virus scan now,
    but reading on the internet I'm pretty sure it's some hardware problem. However, I'm still not sure and I want to know whether I can fix it myself or if I need to replace my monitor. Oh, and also it grows, I noticed today that it doubled in size and I don't
    want to see a huge black line on my screen. Thanks

    P.S. The line doesn't come on in screenshots
