    Thin selectable row border in Windows Explorer


    Hey,Does anyone knows what triggers this happens? It's a selectable row border and mouse shows it's possible to ajust it's height but does nothing.If I'm not in mistake, it started to show up since last Windows 10 update. I have Home edition.Looking forward to the solution.Thanks,BBM

    How To Disable Full Row Select In Windows 10

    Is there any way to disable the full row selection of files in a folder with the view layout as "List" mode?

    Starting with Windows 10 Creators Update the full row select in File Explorer is now permanently activated... and I see no option in Ribbon or anywhere else in Settings to change that!

    Could be a solution ... but it says "it disables the "Tiles" view option in folders" and other side effects.
    Read carefully, use at your peril.

    Are you perhaps referring to file view in file explorer where the select area extends to the right boundary now?

    That can be inconvenient in some views. A poor design decision. There was a thread about this a couple of weeks or so..

    Note that a 3rd party file manager can help here. Not ideal.

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
