Windows 10: Things that need to be removed from windows 10 and 11, start wth the CEO.

First off I am a former Microsoft business partner, reseller and tech-net member and have been building and servicing automation, PLC, CAD and pc devices since the late 1970's not a typo and at one time owned and operated a PC and electronics store. I am also a musician and former AM-FM-TV broadcast and transmitting systems engineer now semi-retired and use midi devices, specialized audio interfaces and software for the things I do everyday.99% of the things pre-installed in Windows 11 I have no use for at all. I use Cubase and Protools and sometimes Adobe audition or Vegas and various DSP

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Add or Remove Items for All Apps in Start menu in Windows 10

My caffeine titer is low, so I must be missing some blatant, basic step to add a shortcut to my account's All Apps list in the Start menu (Option1).
The new process both for creating shortcuts and for adding/removing items to the Win10 start menu has me flummoxed.
Your tutorials are always "topnotch", so this must be a cockpit error on my part.

I have d/l the wushowhide.diagcab and saved it to my downloads folder.
I have done Step 1 on Page 1 of THIS tutorial to navigate to the Start Menu Programs folder.
But HOW do I actually complete Step 3 to create a shortcut and then add it to the Start Menu "All Apps"??

I think I need to first somehow create a shortcut for the .cab file and then add it to All Apps in the start menu???

Please advise.

P.S. I have been postponing the probably inevitable installation of Class Shell.
I would rather not have to install a 3rd-party program to be able to perform basic Windows tasks.
But this new workflow in Win10 for a basic functionality might force me to do it.
Sigh.
