Windows 10: Think I just received and update and it instlled. now win 10 not working right

Just received an update and my win 10 is not working correctlyfirst off the computer is very slow.When i try to use my synaptic touch pad to select and high-lite cannot accomplish this with my touch pad.it will not capture and entire line very erratic. I also have to click more that once on every clcik to make any changeany ideasIs there any way to reset the pc without a recovery media with saving all my apps and files?

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.

 

Sleep mode not working right in Win 10

Tried this and it says I have the latest driver installed. I have also installed all updates for Win 10 and it still will not wake properly. It seems to start when I open the cover of my HP G60 but nothing but blank screen. Must cold boot to recover.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to update the Display driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps. Follow the below steps:

• Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.
• Expand “Display Adaptor”.
• Right click on the driver device and select update. Once update is done, restart the computer.

If the issue still persist try the below method.

Method 2.

I recommend you to download the latest updated display driver from computer manufacturer website and install it in compatibility mode.

• Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.
• Select Compatibility tab.
• Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
• Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Note: Make sure you download the updated display driver.
