Windows 10: think MS has hacked me again , all of a sudden ive got the windows defender app on my pc...

Hi Guys I put my windows 10 on this morning and there is a new app called defender . It is not linked to my actual anti virus and all it is doing is trying to sell me office 365 . I got rid of that office over a year ago and its completely uninstalled from my pc . Im just wondering who has such rights on my personal pc, , to install whatever rubbish they want . if it is MicroSoft , then they have hacked me now for the 4th time , and they are the only ones to ever do so . This app is a malware , there is no other way to describe it . How can they keep hacking me like this . last time it was sp

Pc hacked through remote access

No expert in forums recommends Norton. I would not have it on my PC. Use built-in Defender which always offers best Windows performance with least issues, and is from Microsoft who knows how to protect their OS best.

What makes you think you were hacked exactly. I gave you all steps necessary to prevent this.

What did you find in Apps & Features that they installed on the dates you suspect?

What harm or damage did they cause to you or your PC exactly? If you're unsure then the steps I gave will help determine this but I will tell you nine out of ten who report being hacked weren't actually hacked.

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion
