  1. Thinkpad x260 Laptop speaker suddenly outputting weaker sound even at 100% volume.

I have a Thinkpad x260 laptop and when I opened it today, my speaker weren't as loud as before. This does not happen when I dual boot to Ubuntu 20.04 where i can get as much as 150% volume.

I have fiddled around with different versions of Realtek drivers under Device Manager. The driver "High Definition Audio Device" seems to output slightly higher sound but is still overall unusable when it comes to watching videos. Headphone jack works as normal.

I keep my windows 10 up to date with the latest update being KB4497165. Rolling back this update does nothing.

    Please help

    :)

  2. Bluetooth Speaker at Full Volume; Sounds Like It's Much Lower

I have a Bluetooth speaker that suddenly won't output at full volume. The PC and soundbar both show they are at full volume but the sound from the soundbar is very low. I have tried unplugging it, unsyncing it and nothing fixes it.

  3. Speaker sound

The volume using the Lenovo PC speakers is almost not audible. With the sound set to 100%, it is just audible in a quiet room. Suggestions?

  4. Thinkpad x260 Laptop speaker suddenly outputting weaker sound even at 100% volume.

Windows 10 audio stutters regardless of driver or output used, more noticeable on the toslink and surround sound.

    • What device are you using? A laptop or a computer?
    • Its a desktop, i listed the components in the original post.
    • Do you have an external speaker? From which device does the sound come out from? From the TV or from the device?
    • I listed the outputs in the original post. The issue exists on all outputs and exists on the tv speakers, surround sound speakers, and headset.
    • What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • I have listed the troubleshooting steps that i can remember in the original post.
