Windows 10: Third monitor resolution issue

Hi, I have got a DELL laptop with windows 10 Pro and am able to connect TWO external monitors DELL monitors and extend fine.But when I try to extend to the third monitor by duplicating display 1 which is my laptop I get a resolution 720 x 576 max but when I switch back to Laptop view it works fine.I have tried all this and a number of other options but no joy: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/no-option-for-correct-resolution-with-3-displays/8b4f5abc-5b1c-40ad-ac1d-4c03df36d0b4I am sure the monitor isn't an issue because if I disconnect one of the monitor then the affecte

What exactly happens when you try to change the screen resolution? Do you get any error message?



The recommended resolution on windows 10 is 1920 x 1080. Change the resolution to 1920 x 1080 and check.

The reason why your display was stretched sideways is because the resolution was in-corrected.



Here are the steps to change the screen resolution:

• Right Click the Desktop and select
  Screen Resolution.
• Click the Make text and other items larger or smaller link.
• In the Change only the text size section click the
  drop down menu to select the items you want to change.
