Windows 10: Third Party Download Manager Says I Have No Storage But File Explorer Says I Have Over 50...

Here's my issue, I have tried all Disk test software and its all come back saying everything's fine. I'm Kinda stuck here and I'm not sure what to do

Storage Spaces says full

I recently got a notification saying storage spaces was full but when I check it in file explorer it says 298GB free.









Does anyone know why there is a discrepancy on what is being reported as the available space in storage spaces?

Even WinDirStat does not say its full.

 

File manager is broken. Says 'working on it' Green bar, no files.

Wife says she has to walk away and leave it, and it may eventually show files.
It does not list any directories at all on the left pane.

So how to fix, and if not fixable, is there an alternate file manager?

I suggest you to End Task the Windows Explorer.

• 
  Open task manager (CRTL+SHIFT+ESC)
  
• 
  Right-click on windows explorer.
  
• 
  End task (Note: don’t close Task manager).
  
• 
  Click on File > Run new task.
  
• 
  Type explorer.exe and press enter and check it helps.
