    Third party USB n64 controller giving a driver error


    I purchased a third party usb n64 controller through Amazon to use for emulation on my windows 11 PC. The usb is recognized however the controller is not responding and giving a driver error. I tried updating the drivers for this USB device and that is still not working

    usb n64 controller on Windows 10 problems

    Hi I have a retrolink usb n64 controller which I am trying to use on my pc with windows 10 installed. It is recognized in the control panel as a generic controller but not by the software on my computer. Within the control panel it also mentions that it
    was 'not migrated'. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    USB composite device "driver error"

    Can you send us a screenshot of the error message? We suggest uninstalling and re-installing USB drivers and check if the issue persists. To do that, please follow these steps:

    • Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
    • Right-click on the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click on
      Uninstall to remove it.
    • Repeat these steps for the entire USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
    • Restart the computer. Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.

    USB flash disk error.

    it says CONTROLLER error, not disk error.

    The problems with the USB controller, possibly drivers.
