Windows 10: This app Can't open. There's a Problem with this app. Contact System admin to reinstall...

I have a new refurbished Lenovo laptop with Windows 10. I've tried to join a zoom meeting, but i'm told I need to download it from their site, when I try to, I get the message in my subject line above. This has happened when I've tried to download other things as well.


I have checked and allowed all Windows updates so I am caught up. What can I do to fix this issue?

Contact support app

I never noticed this app before until today. An app listed in start menu called 'Contact Support'. So I clicked it just to take a look. But the app just starts to open and then immediately crashes/shuts off. I logged into another user acc on my machine and it opens just fine.

Usually if an app is playing up on my computer I go into the settings - apps list and reset the app which normally sorts things out. But contact support is missing from the list. Does anyone use the app and have any problems with it?

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Error: "This app can't open There's a problem with (app name). Contact your system administrator about repairing or reinstalling" on Windows 10

After a Windows update I get the following error when I try to open certain apps:
This app can't open There's a problem with (app name). Contact your system administrator about repairing or reinstalling.
I am the system administrator for one computer no network connections. Does anyone have suggestions?
