I want to run this uninstaller to uninstall a device I removed from my Windows 11. It was blocked. I disable many Windows Security options e.g. Reputation based protection, ScreenSmart etc. What else can I do to run this program to uninstall my device drivers? ThanksExtra info, this driver is a relic from my Windows 10 before I upgraded my PC to Windows 11

    :)

  2. This app has been blocked for your protection: inetmgr.exe

    Hi Lindsay,

In addition to the steps that were already provided in this thread, we would also like to verify if you have tried checking if the app is being blocked by Windows Defender. The "This app has been blocked for your protection" error may also
occur when SmartScreen is blocking the app. To unblock, you can follow the steps below:

    • Open the file/program blocked by SmartScreen.
    • Locate and right-click the file.
    • Select Properties and go to General tab.
    • Right next to Security, add a check mark on Unblock.

You also disable/turn off Windows Defender SmartScreen temporarily and check if the issue will still persist. You can do this by navigating to
Windows Defender Security Center app > App and browser control >
Check apps and files > select Off
for apps and files, Microsoft Edge, and
    Windows Store apps
    .

Feel free to respond back and tell us the result.

Windows Firewall blocks App Store from downloading new apps

    Hi,

Let's try to check if the app store you're referring to if it's really blocked by Windows Firewall. See these steps:

    • Open Windows Firewall from the taskbar >
      Firewall & network protection
      > Allow an app through firewall.
    • A new window will show up containing the list of the apps that ca be allowed through Firewall.
    • Look for the app you want to be accessed, and make sure that the Domain, Private and Public are ticked. That would allow the app store to be accessed.

Let us know what happens after doing the suggestion.
