Windows 10 Start Full Screen Worked Yesterday But Not today

Yesterday I was personalizing Settings on my Dell with Windows 10. The Start screen was not Full and I wanted to switch to Full Screen. I did so by going to Settings > Personalization. It worked. Then after a short time I set it back so that the Start screen
was small and only on the left. Today I opened my laptop and wanted to show my spouse how to change the Settings in Personalization to Start in Full Screen. I was able to move the dot to the right so that it appeared on screen as though I had changed the settings
to Start in Full Screen. In fact I had not. My tiles had spread out all over the place but it did not look like it had the night before. It was a mess. Gone was the grey transparency with tiles neatly arranged. I also did not have three sections, just two
but I think I heard that this is normal? In any case I could not figure out how to access my vertical list of programs since they were missing. I have Mild Traumatic Brain Injury so I need to keep it visual, easy and as much a possible on the Start menu on
my touch screen 15" Dell. So I switched back to the partial Start screen. This looked perfectly fine as it should. I tried to Start in Full Screen over and over again but it never worked. I really want to work with this Windows 10 OS Start screen in Full
Screen mode. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

I had a similar issue to deal with today on a friends computer today. Sync worked when I arrived, all appeared to be well then all of a sudden it was a lost soul. The eventual decision was to Hard Reset the device, delete the partnership on the PC reboot
then resync. It took, sync'ed, brought all the info back over from the PC and worked each time we checked it throughout the afternoon.



What was the issue? We are not really sure. There was an update and he had installed a new program but what ever it was, it sems to be fine now.



Sometimes a fresh start will do a whole lotof good....
