Hello, don't be tired I have a flash drive that was first formatted to RAW And I could not format it, I searched a lot, but the solutions were not fruitful That's why I created a new partition for it using the software and formatted it through disk management, but it didn't work, and now I connect the flash drive to the laptop, but I don't see the flash drive. The laptop drivers are updated and healthy, the problem is I could not identify the flash Help me please Thank you

Win10, all USB ports stop working - USB xCHI Compliant host Controller error (this device cannot start. code 10)

I managed to install the driver following the instructions for dpinst version on that link (thank you for finding it!)

...but unfortunately USB still do not work. This time the device status is:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10) / Device Timeout / The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired".

Any idea if this is better or worse error? If i run the troubleshoot, it will install the old "USB xCHI Compliant Host Controller" with the old problems. I can now atleast pick the mod driver if i try to
manually update it from device manager.

 

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) (in windows 10)

This is reported on my HP Pavilion DV7-7047cl laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It is on the Device Manager under Biometric devices and is reported on Validity Sensors (WFB) (PID=0018). The driver shows to be Validity Sensors Version 4.5.235.0 and it is signed
by Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.

General tab in Device Manager also reports:

{Device Timeout}

The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.

I have attempted to Update the driver with no success.

This is my fingerprint reader device and consequently the devise does not work.

 

USB card Code 10

I have a number of customers who use the StarTech USB card (PEXUSB3S25) to run some optical equipment, i beleive that since they have had automatic updates they have had issues when trying to use the card.

The errors are:-

This device cannot start. (Code 10) - {Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful.

This device cannot start. (Code 10) - {Device Timeout}

The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.

I have uninstalled the card and let the system reload drivers but this has had no effect. I have also been in touch with Startech and they have given me an updated driver which also has no effect.

THis has been working successfully until today.
