Windows 10: This device cannot start. Code 10 High Definition Audio Controller not working

Please can someone assist, I have uninstalled and reinstalled all motherboard drivers and looked through to blogs help however this remains broken.


Can someone please advise?

Macbook pro early 2011 bootcamp was not willing to let the SSD run in AHCI mode in windows 10, so I did EFI installation of windows 10.
Everything seems to work but the audio card.

I tried installing the drivers manually and automatically and from the bootcamp but this error persists.

Is the problem in the EFI implementation of the macbook pro early 2011 that windows cannot read , or is it related to drivers ?
I downloaded latest videocard Intel HD 3000, and realtek generic driver. The audio drivers seems to be from currus logic.

On Bootcamp install (BIOS) the sound card works fine, but in EFI it can not start the driver.

HD Audio controller cannot start code 10, No audio output device is installed, No sound controllers in device manager.

I have an Acer Aspire E1-531 running Windows 10 anniversary update. I used the free update option, and updated from Windows 7. The problem is I get no sound whatsoever, and in device manager, under system devices, the high definition audio controller has
a yellow exclamation mark and code 10. There is no sound, game, and video controller tab in the device manager. On the taskbar, there is a red x on the speaker symbol, saying that no output device is installed. Opening the sound menu, there are no playback
or recording devices, even with show disabled and disconnected. The problem started before I had updated, after a battery repair. I've tried uninstalling the high definition audio controller, but after I refresh it just comes back. I've tried uninstalling
and reinstalling drivers, and other suggestions I've found in Microsoft answers but nothing has worked yet.

I can get a sound, video, and game controller menu in device manager if I use add legacy hardware, and select Realtek high definition audio device. But then the Realtek high definition audio device also gives a "This device cannot start" (Code 10) Request
not supported.

For anyone having the same problem with me about the High Definition Audio Controller and sound, I just updated again my BIOS and searched for a new driver via the Device Manager for
High Definition Audio Controller and it's all back to normal. No errors and sound card showing again in Sound , video and game controllers.
