    This error occurred when updating , help :/


    Update name - 2020-11 Cumulative update for w10 version 20H2 for x64 (KB4586781)

    Error

    Things I tried :

    1 - Clearing software distribution folder after commands (net stop wuaserv , net stop bits).

    2 - Using offline update from from Microsoft update catalogue .

    3- Clean installation using media creation tool.

    Any help ?

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    When I get to the step that says del %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat, nothing happens.

    When I get to step 5 and type in
    • regsvr32.exe mshtml.dllN
    It gives me this:
