  1. This file does not have an app associated... When I search anything on search bar

When I enter something in the search bar of windows 10 such as "Manage your Accounts" and hit enter, I get an error saying, "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page."

But despite this, I am able to work well on my pc but please give the solution to this problem. I have done everything like DISM scan and all. I have also done changes in the registry but nothing happened. Even created a new account but nothing happened. Please help, I am very much worried about it!!

    My laptop is Hp 14s-dk0093au

    :)

    Please share this:

    • Which search bar are you referring to?

    • Is it the search bar in file explorer or the search bar on desktop (cortana and search)?
If you are referring to the search bar in file explorer, I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps:
    (to delete a specific entry)

    • Open File Explorer.

    • Click/tap inside the Search box, then select (highlight) the search suggestion (ex:
ttt) that you want to delete, and press the Delete key.

    • Repeat if you would like to delete another one.

To clear all search entries, follow this:

    • Click/tap on the Download button below to download the .bat file below, then
      run it.

      Clear_Search_History_in_File_Explorer.bat

NOTE: If you like, you can stop getting the Run prompt by
    unblocking

This file does not have an app associated... When I search anything on search bar

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

    Any suggestions to fix this?
