I transferred an audio file from my phone (iPhone) to my PC. The audio played fine on my mobile, but when I tried playing it on my PC, I got the error message in the title. I've tried playing on Windows Media Player, Groove Music and VLC but get nothing. I've tried converting the file type. The file size is still present and it takes time to upload so clearly there is some data there. Any thoughts? This is a seriously important file so any help would be much appreciated.

    Converting rmvb files

K, i had the same problem with 75% of my rmvb files, but after i used this program 100% would convert. If the files play in realplayer it isn;t a problem with the codec.
Try searching for real alternative if you don;t want to use realplayer - it will let you play rm files in any media player.

    Batch Files Knowledge Base

Don't use batch files very much but one I find useful is for creating a list of files in a directory.
Just copy the text below into Notepad and save as Filelist.bat

    dir /a /-p /o:gen >filelist.txt

When you run it from a folder it will create a Filelist.txt file,in the same folder, that lists all the files in that folder.Useful when you are too lazy to type all the files out yourself.
