Windows 10: This is about reloading the product key when all options are used up

So after learning the hard way about viruses, I then reset my pc ,then updated my pc using the update assistant, from the MS Help center , I lost my product key ,now windows refuses to activate, .I look to the back of my computer and I found an old one, it didn't work, it says check for a good internet connection, i don't even want to disturb you guys but please help me

From the description provided, I understand that Belarc Advisor is notifying you of the updates that needs to be reloaded.

I would suggest you to check if the mentioned KB updates are properly installed from the Windows Update History. I would also suggest you to follow the below steps and see if it helps.

Step 1 Follow these steps to run the Windows inbuilt troubleshooter:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  

• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  

• Select the Windows Update option from the list.
  

• Click Next to run theTroubleshooter.

Step 2 Try to use the Windows Update troubleshooter and see if it helps.

Unable to use the option Change Product Key

I understand that you are facing issues in activating Windows using a product key. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



As you are facing issues in entering the product key using the Change Product key option, let us try another method to use the key. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the
   Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Type in the following commands and hit Enter after each command:
   
   slmgr -upk
   
   slmgr -cpky
   
   slmgr -ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX (Replace XXXX with the product key)
   
   slmgr -ato

Product Key Reactivation

Reactivating Windows 11 after retrieving the motherboard key involves using the original product key or digital license associated with your system.

Here are the steps to reactivate Windows 11:

1. Open Settings:
   
   • Click on the Start button and select the gear icon to open "Settings."
     
2. Navigate to Update & Security:
   
   • In the Settings menu, click on "Update & Security."
     
3. Go to Activation:
   
   • In the left sidebar, select "Activation."
     
4. Enter Product Key:
   
   • If you have a product key, click on "Change product key" and enter the key when prompted.
     
5. Use Digital License:
   
   • If your Windows 11 was linked to your Microsoft account, you might see an option to troubleshoot and link your digital license. Click on this option and follow the prompts.
     
6. Restart Your Computer:
   
   • After entering the product key or linking your digital license, restart your computer.
     
7. Verification:
   
   • Go back to the Activation section in Settings to verify that Windows 11 is now activated.
