this is actually a resolution of a prblem I recently posted about laptop typing problem...

My new Dell laptop Windows 11 had an intermittent problem in which it would stop typing. When this occurred, it didn't matter whether the typing was done on the laptop keyboard, Accessory wireless keyboard or on-screen keyboard. Eventually it turns out to be my wireless Logitech K520 keyboard that triggers the problem which then affects the other keyboards. Rebooting the computer & only using the computer keyboard has resolved the problem.

  2. Laptop Screen Resolution Windows 10

    Hi,

We suggest you to update the Display Adapter Drivers.

Step 1: Update the Display Adapter driver.

    • Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on Update driver software.

Refer to: How to: Install and Update drivers in Windows
    10

Step 2: Kindly follow the below steps to change the resolution of the screen and check:

    • Type Change screen resolution in the Search box from the desktop.

    • Under Resolution search for the Recommended resolution and click on Apply.

    • A windows pops up saying "Keep these display settings", then select Keep changes.

There will be a recommended resolution for all the computers, and if you select more than the recommended resolution the screen would not support for that.

Hope this helps. Feel free to contact us for any further issues on Windows. We will be happy to help you.

    Regards.

  3. Resolution Problem

    Hi Mohit,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

    • What exactly are you trying to do?
    • Are you trying to change the resolution of the screen?
I checked on my computer it(1600x900)is available in Advanced display settings.

If you do not see that option, then I suggest you to try the steps below.

    Restart the computer and check.

    Also, check for Windows updates.

Try to run the following commands and check if it helps.

    • Type CMD in Search. Right click on it to run as an administrator.

    • Type the following 4 commands at the CMD prompt:
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    sfc /scannow

    powershell

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    • Close the CMD window.

    • Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files:
