Windows 10: This is crazy . .

It's not happening, on this Forum. But it does happen on other screens.
Example: Movies, Videos and Music. What, I'm talking about, is a small
rectangular window, on the bottom, right side of my screen.

It's running, all the time!. It shows commercials, and other things.
Like, a video at,a dog show or like a video at a Casino, in 'Vegas.
Or, an Allstate commercial. I see it all the time.
It's always there, what can I do, to stop it?

I guess what I need, is an ad blocker. But, all that would do,
is stop ads in the middle of the screen

One other thing . . . Please don't say to make any adjustment,
to any one browser. It happens on my desktop, when nothing is running,
all the time!

AMD to Give 20 nm Optical Shrinks to Console SoCs First

Scroll down to list of revisions. Die shrinks are not consumer relevant with consoles. They bring no performance changes because consistency is the entire point of them. Unless you're batshit crazy Nintendo that is, then you get the "new 3DS" half step BS.

 

Windows 10 Start search no longer works

Many people are having this issue, and there's a lot of crazy suggestions out there. I've tried them all, and nothing worked until I did this:

• Delete the directory: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy [REBOOT]
• Run the following command from Powershell with Admin privileges: Add-AppxPackage -Register "C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppxManifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode [REBOOT]

For Step 1, you'll have to boot to a WinPE drive, or maybe Safe Mode because the directory will be locked. But, if you do these two steps in this order it will fix the problem.

 

Device List going crazy

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and the last couple of times I've needed to open my Device Manager the list of devices has been going crazy. It opens, closes, opens, closes, opens, closes and just keeps on doing that. It's kind of hard to find the device
you're looking for when that is going on. Does anyone out there know how to make the list behave and stay open?
