I would send this as feedback to Microsoft, but that is essentially impossible these days, so I'm posting this to a public forum to put the spot light on this issue and put the pressure on to patch the problem once and for all.Efficiency mode is the bane of every Windows user trying to do more than doom scroll on Facebook. It automatically enables and forces itself on programs that suffer immensely from the reduced processing power that comes with this nonsense, even when the program is being actively used and even when Efficiency Mode has been 'disabled' via task manager for a specific progra

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.

Request: Block User List

If you go to the users Profile in the User List drop down there is "Add to Ignore List". Not sure that covers PM's or the whole forum in general.
