StartFragmentTo Microsoft Support, This is not a technical issue. It’s a digital catastrophe. I followed every instruction to keep my files local. I selected “Keep on this device.” I did not authorize a sync. But OneDrive, without my consent, overrode those settings and forcibly moved my documents, images, and folders—including the backbone of my business and creative work—into its system. Then, without any clear warning or prompt, the files vanished. My system is now a shell of what it was. My Documents folder, my Desktop—everything has been absorbed by OneDrive. I no longer have control over

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
