Windows 10: This is unstoppable

So on the microsoft store i installed minecraft dungeons it took a while but after that it said something happened on our end i tried canceling the installation but it didn't work, then Directx runtime needed to install an update But that one said something happened on our end i tried canceling the installation on both but it didn't work i tried using WSreset.exe didn't even work i tried resetting the microsoft store didn't work i tried everything don't even work

Sudden unstoppable notifications in taskbar

An issue I've never had before, so looking for any insights please.

While running a normally reliable application (a macro in Macro Express Pro) I suddenly started getting an unstoppable succession of notifications:
"Macro Express Pro
An event was logged"





I had to use Task Mgr to terminate.

I went to Win 10 Settings > Notifications & Actions > 'Get notifications from these apps' (in order to temporarily prevent a re-occurrence until I find the cause), but there is no entry for Macro Express Pro in the list.

BTW, never had any taskbar notification like that before, from any app. Interested to know how others configure this 'feature'?

 

Unstoppable McAfee side pop-ups

My Dell laptop has been infected with Unstoppable McAfee side pop-ups. Chrome settings have always blocked pop-ups, and I added a long list of banned sites, but the side pop-ups keep coming. I don't have McAfee, so can't uninstall it. Norton Anti-Virus does its scans, but they do nothing.
