The PC has a ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming Wi-Fi which now has a Ryzen 9 5950X which I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 7 3700X. I unavoidably upgraded the cooling unit from a Wraith Prism to a ASUS ROG STRIX LC III 240 ARGB AIO CPU liquid cooler and realized during installation that there was not enough physical space for the radiator and one of the two supplied fans between the top of the DDR4 and the inside top of the case, which is a CORSAIR 465X Mid-Tower Smart Case. Therefor I only installed ONE of the TWO supplied fans underneath the radiator. My concern is the average temperature of my

  3. CPU Temperature

I have tried to follow different sets of instructions on how to reveal the CPU temperature gauge. They either fail to match what I see on the screen or fail to tell me what function key to press when I eventually get to the list of options. Can anyone
clarify this for me. (I'm investigating the possibility that instability on my Sony All-in-one PC is being caused by high temperature).

High CPU Temperature After Windows 10 Upgrade

I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I followed the regular upgrade process from Windows 7 and did a clean install afterwards. Everything is working fine and I am pleased with my overall experience.

I noticed though, that system temperature is rising really quickly after system startup and the fan is constantly running.

    • Only 10-15 minutes after startup CPU temperature hits 80°C when system is running totally idle
    • If I start browsing the internet, temperature jumps to 90°C
    • Task managers show system process between 18-20% of CPU; all other processes are between 0-1%
    • All drivers and BIOS are up to date
    • I turned off Malwarebytes to exclude it as a cause
Any thoughts? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
