Windows 10: This Lenovo Ideapad will not boot Windows cause HDD has a input - output problem , what...

I tried almost everything from changing settings in Bios to Using many different Partition - Format recovery tools and tried commands in Linux Terminals to Windows and even Power Tools,. Maybe someone knows a better command to use or try To get past the reading it and get it mounted? My friend some how had 7 corrupted partitions with no mbr or GPT . All iis unkown even the file systemd has no format. Sometimes I can get Hard drive to show up on Linux Disk or Gparted but has Input output error trying to do anything. Most time it wont even show up in a system tool. The Bios also it shows up a

Let's Uninstall Intel RST Driver from the Device manager;

First make a restore point in case something goes wrong.

In the device manager follow those steps to replace the Intel RST driver with the standard Windows SATA AHCI driver:

It's weird !

do you see it when you type intel rapid in the Windows start menu?





If you don't see it something has gone wrong!






I see calls to functions in the Intel RST Module, when there is access to the disk.
If Intel RST has broken down that can cause issues.

I suggest you install it again from the Lenovo Website

Uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology and restart your computer:

Uninstall Intel rapid storage Technology, and if it doesn't fix the problem go ahead with @zbook steps...
