Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

N8-00 sends a single SMS multiple times since Anna upgrade

Hi,



Since my N8-00 has been upgraded to Symbian Anna, a single SMS message is billed multiple times.

Now and then a simple SMS (within the constraints of a single SMS, without any special letters) shows up on my bill as if it was send 2 (sometimes even 3) times. Each time there is a delay of exactly 3 seconds between them.



It seems as if the communication between the phone and the SIM card or the cell tower causes the phone to attempt sending the SMS multiple times, while actually each time it tries, the attempt is marked as sent and consecutively shows up on the bill.



Because this problem has only been occuring since the upgrade to Symbian Anna, I suspect a software bug to be the problem.



The receiver phone gets only 1 SMS as he/she is supposed to.





Anyone who had the same problem or someone who has suggestions?

Or is there maybe a manner to roll back the symbian anna updates till this bug is fixed by new updates?

Is there a way to select and delete multiple message in a single thread? right now what I can do is delete messages one by one or delete the whole thread. I dint found any option to select multiple messages at a time and delete them.
