Windows 10: This Operation Has Been Cancelled When Trying To Install An App

Here is my software info for my laptop.Edition Windows 11 Home Version 22H2 Installed on ‎4/‎18/‎2022 OS build 22598.200 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22598.200.0 I have no third-party apps installed for security or antivirus.I just updated my OS to the latest version of Windows and now, when I try to install an app that I purchased a few weeks ago, I get an error that states, "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."I've tried searching Google but all the solutions that I've found are for Win

How are you trying to cancel your reservation?

You can cancel your reservation at any time prior to installing Windows 10. Here’s how:

• 
  Right click on the Get Windows 10 App or Windows icon located in right end of the taskbar.
  
• 
  Select “Check your upgrade status”
  
• 
  Select “Cancel reservation”
  

Let us know the update after you try the above steps.

 

Windows Installer popup on Windows 10 will not cancel

For us to isolate the issue with the Windows Installer pop-up that can't be cancelled, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• When you say "It will not cancel", can you tell us what happens when you try canceling it?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In he meantime, we suggest that you perform a clean boot. It will help us determine if there are any third-party
programs/apps that is causing the issue. It could be some other applications or programs.
