Windows 10: “This PC can’t run windows 11” upon reinstallation

Hi there,I am reinstalling windows 11 on my PC. I had it installed previously on an SSD that was beginning to fail. I replaced the SSD, installed the installation media onto a flash drive, and am attempting to boot from the flash drive to install windows again. However, I am seeing “This PC can’t run windows 11”.I have confirmed TPM 2.0 is enabled.I have confirmed secure boot is enabled.I have confirmed CSM is disabled and I am only in UEFI mode.Specs:Motherboard: MAG B550 TomahawkCPU: Ryzen 5 5800x3DGPU: Asus RTX 3070RAM: 32 gb 3200mhzStorage: 1 TB nVME SSD, 4 TB nVME SSD

Windows 11 reinstall

Hi there I'm using a dell inspiron 3501.

I always experience BSODs in my windows 11 PC. So now I'm trying to reinstall windows 11. I have backed up all the important files as well...

But at the moment I am confused whether should I reset my PC by removing all the files or clean install or a fresh start. Can you give me any suggestion and how the method actually works and the steps that I should follow to reinstall windows 11?

 

Am trying to reinstall windows 11 on pc via USB drive , get message saying windows 11 will not run on this pc.

Been having trouble with windows 11 crashing and advised to do a clean install via USB drive . Tried this 3 times but on last installation , windows would not activate . Tried to reinstall windows 11 again , set up starts ok but then get message saying windows 11 will not run on this PC . Been running ok up till now .

System is a Gigabyte H370 HD3 motherboard , Intel core i3 8100, LGA1151. 16 GB Corsair memory. Am stuck with windows 11 installation that didn`t install properly and won`t activate. Now I can`t reinstall windows either . Am I going to have to back to windows 10 and stick with that ? Totally frustrated.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
