Windows 10: This PC photos merged with Documents folder and cant seperate nor change back to normal,...

I was trying to move documents and photos source onto my hard drive instead of taking up space on my SSD. However, they somehow combined and I have tried changing the location, however, once I change one, the other immediately switches to the same place. I can't change it back to this PC photo and I need help to revert it back if possible. I have tried looking at Previous versions but nothing shows. I just want it to be photos like normal.

After you have put E:\Documents in Quick access, you can then consider the additional steps in post #11

And this would also be a good time to review your backup planning.

Perhaps they 'relocated' the user folders to the E:\ drive so that the main drive would then be clear for reinstalling the OS.

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
