this showed up on my screen while i was playing VRC, im pretty sure it may be fake considering im signed into microsoft but im unsure. can someone help me out, if you need any more information ill try to give more info on this

HD TV connected via HDMI only shows my desktop, but not the video im playing

HI

I recently upgraded to windows 10, before i had windows 8, now my problem is i used to watched download videos from computer and connect via hdmi to tv and watch it on the big screen.

But now when i connect. The tv only shows my desktop screen but no movie playing or anything else, infact even the cursor also doest show moving

Kindly help me to work it out, Im a non tech guy so pls guide me step by step

Screen tearing not sure of cause

You posted a lot of information. That isn't a bad thing, but I would say a good chunk of people coming into the thread are going to be put off by it.

What I would suggest is taking the information you have there and short-handing it. People find it more readable to go down through a list of what has occurred and what you've done about it so far.

I'm sure someone will be along to help. That your mobo threw a beep code suggesting memory, and you ran 4 passes on it (MemTest?) without any problems, maybe you're looking at a problem with the mobo.
