Windows 10: This site can't be reached while using DoH with Chrome, but not FF.

Since the release of Chrome 83 which includes using DoH, I have it enabled using Cloudflare as I do the same in Firefox. But randomly in Chrome only I get the below result. If I refresh the page it will load as expected. Has anyone else had this happen? It's not constant, and it varies on different site. Not even the same sites do it 9 out of 10 times (if not longer). I know it's a new feature in Chrome, so maybe they need to work on it as Firefox has had it enabled for a long time now, and I've been using it since it came out, and never had any issues with Firefox. I've also cleared browser data, and restarted, but I still randomly get it.

Windows 10, Chrome + FF + IE + Edge?

So for those like me who want to use Chrome or FF, the best option is just to let IE & edge?

Then we need to do the settings about pop-ups, cookies etc in all 4?

As per the issue description on one of the three users Chrome is not working.
I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better.

• The account on which you are facing issue with Chrome, does it have the administrator permission?
• Have you check with other browser? Was the result same?
• Is the issue specific to only one application or facing issue with other application too?

First, I would suggest you to use Internet Explorer and see if it brings any difference.
Here are the steps through which you can use Internet Explorer.

• 
  Press the Windows key.
  
• 
  Type Internet Explorer in the search box.
  
• 
  Right click on Internet Explorer
  (Desktop app).
  
• 
  Select Pint to task bar.
  
• 
  Try to use Internet Explorer from there and see if it brings any difference.
  

If you still want to use Chrome then I would suggest you to open the application Chrome in administrator mode and see if it brings any difference. Here are the steps through which you can open Chrome in Administrator mode.

• Press the Windows key or click on Start icon.
• Type Google Chrome.
• Right click on Google Chrome and select the option to Run As Administrator.
• If everything works fine by running chrome in administrator mode then you may pin it to the task bar.

Windows 10, Chrome + FF + IE + Edge?

default browser Chrome

I like Chrome & FF for their extensions for safety and downloading

I kept IE for the internet options, seemed to b e usefull in a windows OS

Now Windows 10 added Edge, so I have 4 browsers.

From a practical point of view, would it be wise to unistall edge and/or IE?
