Windows 10: "This System will shut down in 5 minutes" - Why is this happening and why can't I prevent this?

This wasn't an update and its only happened once. I want it to be the last time since this really has no business happening without good reasons, especially when they're not specified. It just decided to do this. It made my internet connection unusable by turning it off I want to know the possible reasons why this occurred because if they aren't satisfactory I'm going to be looking at operating systems other than MS since I can't have this happening on MS's whim. There was nothing I could do to prevent this - I tried everything I could think of with the limited time I was given.

I have no idea what to categorize this as, so if its in the wrong section you know why.

Method 1: Run the Power Troubleshooter to find and fix problems with your computer's power settings. Check your power settings if your computer is set to sleep or hibernate after 5 minutes of inactivity. To run the troubleshooter, follow

• On the search bar, type Troubleshooting, and click on
  Troubleshooting from the results.
• Click on System and Security.
• Under Power, click on Power.

Thank for your replay,

in my case we have more then 300 PC and all are under domain and few are not for me is very hard to go each system and do this one what you suggest me here , but i did only 2 system what you suggest me but still the same, is happened after windows 10
new update (Windows 10 Version 1809 ) what we are using now , before i thought this issue for the domain user so i remove few PC Under domain and make it as a local PC but still the same Every 5 minutes system will logoff.

I suggest the following simple steps:

1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.
