Family Safety Not Blocking Websites on Google Chrome

Family safety has suddenly stopped blocking any website on the blocked list when using Google Chrome. It still blocks them on Microsoft Edge but Edge additionally blocks Google websites such as Gmail and Google Docs even though they are on the allowed list.

I have tried removing and adding back the account but it did not help. Any advice on fixing this issue will be much appreciated.

Allow or Block Cookies in Google Chrome in Windows

    Hi Brink,
Yes, cookies resemble items found in SpywareBlaster. I have exercised the #$%^ out of SpywareBlaster to get rid of Chrome Blocked cookies. I posted over on Chrome Help Forum asking whether they're Chrome default.
    No joy.
I created Person 2 to see if they're in new user (presume) default profile. They're there.

Allow or Block Website Notifications in Google Chrome in Windows [IMG]

They're not hurting anything, as far as I know.
I'm just Chrome newbie curious how cookies came to be listed as Blocked.

    problem uninstalling google chrome

    Hi,

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

    • On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
    • Select Task Manager.
    • Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
    • Right click on them and select End Task.
    • Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Let us know if these steps worked.

Block websites does not work with Google Chrome.

    Hi,

I set activity reporting "on", Web browsing "on", and also blocked some websites such as YouTube,.. But my child still can browse these websites, and the activity report comes out blank. He is using Google Chrome for web browsing. On the Web browsing control
menu it said "Websites can only be blocked on Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer. To protect your child, block any other browsers appearing in
Recent activity under Apps & games.", is that mean it can't block Google Chrome browser? How can I block these websites if he using Google Chrome browser? He need to use Google Chrome for his school works. If I block this Google
Chrome App he won't be able to do his home work any more. Please help.
