  1. Throwing up 3 different BSODs after ASUS screen

To start off, I have gotten my custom build up and running.
Unfortunately, not too it's fullest power and that is why I'm here.
I am trying to run my build for video editing purposes.

    I have 2 8-core processors on a server MB.
At the time, I was having many BSODs because of the fact that Windows did not want to run anymore than 2 cores(total).
I finally disabled all of them but 2, so I could at least use the build.
But I am back here because I want to find out the problem as to why it won't let me run 16 cores.
I have tried every Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server(2008 & 2016) and still, it just throws up a BSOD if I run more than 2 cores on any of them.

I get 3 BSOD's RIGHT after my ASUS screen loads. One each time it restarts.

    • BAD_OBJECT_HEADER
    • REFERENCE_BY_POINTER
    • PAGE_FAULT_IN_A_NONPAGED_AREA

Here are my specs if you could kindly help me out:

    CPU: 2xIntel Xeon E5 2670 @ 2.60GHz
    Sandy Bridge-EP/EX 32nm Technology

    RAM: 64.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28)

    Motherboard: ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS (Socket-R 2011)

GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (EVGA)

    Storage: 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003-1SB10C (SATA)
128GB Samsung SSD 850 PRO (SSD)

  2. Driver power state failure when resuming from hibernate

Hi guys, I've been getting this BSOD since I got my laptop (Asus ROG G752VY). When resuming from hibernate, after booting into Windows, the screen stays black for about 2-3 minutes and after that it's throwing this error.

I've uploaded the dmp file here:

    http://www35.zippyshare.com/v/5YCnkH9q/file.html

    Thank you for the help.

  3. Unable to revert back from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1

Hey Ruth! Thank you so much for your prompt reply.

    1. I'm using no other anti-virus except the one that Windows 10 comes with, pre-installed, that is, Windows Defender.

    2. It's an Asus G750JM-T4018P notebook.

    3. The nVidia drivers do not get installed at first, they throw an error during installation and end up at the final screen where they show "not installed". I had to install a really old driver in safe mode, and then had to upgrade it to the updated ones
normally. When I installed the older ones in safe mode and restarted, I noted that the screen switched to microsoft display drivers, and not the Intel integrated drivers or the nVidia drivers. Apparently even after installing the updated nVidia drivers, I
was unable to switch to the GPU, and the display continued working on the Intel integrated drivers. And after updating, when I try to restart, it ends up on the blank screen followed by a BSoD. I've done this a couple of times now and I'm able to replicate
    the issue every single time.

    4. I have downloaded every single driver from the nVidia website. I have also tried the drivers provided by Asus for the model of my notebook and issue still persists.

Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified in your operating system.

A counterfeit installation often contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analysing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it. It is against the forum rules too.

I recommend that you install a genuine copy of Windows. If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.
