Windows 10: Thumbnails for images and programs not showing. [Windows 11]

As stated, the thumbnails for images and programs are not showing.I have tried:1: a clean reboot2: deleting thumbnail cache3: SFC. scan4: Explorer>Options>View>Always5: Turning on One Drive6: DISM health scan, restore, etc.I did have someone delete some files they claimed were temporary and then this issue popped up. Is there a file I can download? I am at a loss and incredibly frustrated.Thank you in advance!

Thumbnails won't show images

On Windows 10 my images aren't showing the image in the thumbnail. It's showing a pieces of blank paper. This randomly started happening today. I have checked the "Organize" setting and the "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked. I'm not sure
what else to do. Any suggestions?

 

Windows 11 Thumbnails not showing on some images

New laptop running Windows 11 with Dropbox and Carbonite only displays some image thumbnails. We scanned for malware, ran sfc /scannow, reset folder defaults, deleted thumbnail cache, and rebooted. There are no missing Windows updates. Opening the photo to view it and then closing it, doesn't help either. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

 

Thumbnails do not show image in windows 11

I am having the same issue. I tried the suggestion steps from The Time Ladys reply, "Click on the three dots in the file explorer bar, choose options & then choose View tab then deselect always show icons & never thumbnails. Then restart the PC." But when I click the three dots there is no option to choose "option".
